Havanese Puppies 21 Days Old

All of the kiddos are beginning to walk, growl, & play. Such fun they are! Each one of them are developing their unique personalities and their coats are beginning to change a tad bit as well. A very unique characteristic of Havanese are that their colors can change up until they are around 2 years old. A white Havanese could change to have brown, black, cream color spots or any other variations of colors in their coats.

Luna's Puppies

Luna's babies were born 6/7/07.

Having a litter of puppies is always 'pure joy' and I am always so fascinated to watch them as they learn more and more every day. It especially tickles me when they first learn to bark and they realize it (although basically a chirp)..haha. It's just so cute! I am going to be so sad when it comes time for them to go to their new homes. But I can't wait to get to see pictures of them with their new families.

Here is Bailey at 7 days:

Aren't they SO CUTE??

"Anyone that hasn't found happiness has never owned a puppy"

When Luna met Bud

When Luna met Bud, both AKC registered Havanese, it was love at first sight. 63 days later it was a litter of little Lunas and Buds, more affectionately known as the kiddos.

Luna came into our lives July 2005. She was the cutest little puppy we had ever seen. Giving kisses to everyone! Many people mistake her for a Bichon Frise or a Maltese because we keep her in a puppy cut (it's much easier to keep her clean living out here in the country).

Luna's mom lives close by so she gets to visit her often:

Her best friend is Hercules, a 10 year old Shih Tzu. They are 'just friends', no hanky panky going on.

Her favorite thing to do is chase the squirrels and birds out of our yard.

Two years later she sure hasn't changed much.

Luna and Just Bud are both annually CERF certified and registered with the American Kennel Club
